Roast level: Medium-dark

Tasting notes: Dark fudge, cinnamon, black sugar liqueur

Single Origin: Tarrazú, Los Santos, Costa Rica

From one of the most popular coffee regions, this single-origin Costa Rican coffee has been the star of the season, and won’t last long. A medium-dark roast fills out a hot coco feel in any mug, with a cinnamon spice and liqueur complexity. This is fantastic using any pour-over or automatic brewing machine, and also delights our fans with home espresso machines. A very versatile cup, that holds up to your fav seasonal add-ins like autumn spice syrup, or rich creamer

Leading the pack

The very first coffee farm we visited after post-pandemic travel was at Mayra's home. She is an inspiring, strong, loving mom and leader in her community. She has inspired her family, specifically her daughters, to continue on in the coffee industry and pave their own path. They offer amazing coffees in different varieties and processes, winning awards and hearts with every sip.

We categorize roast level per general terms, and are subject to our opinion. Visual difference may not be detectable. Lighter roasts will have more nuanced flavors and higher acidity, medium roasts will have a balanced body, and darker roasts will have a richer and fuller body.

Please select the closest option for pre-ground coffee:
Fine for espresso
Medium for drip and pour overs
Coarse for french press or cold brew

For a more dialed in grind, we highly recommend purchasing a burr grinder for best results.

We roast weekly, and label each bag with the roast date for your reference. We recommend brewing within 3 months of the roast date for best results, and optimal flavor extraction we recommend brewing 2-4 weeks post roast date, depending on the bean and brew method.

We ship all orders via USPS Ground. Orders are shipped typically 1-3 days from order date unless fresh beans need to be roasted. We roast on a weekly basis, so orders could take up to 5 days to ship. Email us with any questions or concerns! hello@sweltercoffee.com

If there is an issue with your order, you can contact us within 30 days of purchase to resolve. If you simply do not like the coffee, we cannot offer a refund. Please gift the coffee to someone who may enjoy it!
