Building community around quality coffee

The women of the Agasake Women's group are made up of 265 members. These women are selected to join this group once they've shown exellence in their farming practices and quality in coffee. This group is a subset of a larger group, but can sell their coffee directly under their own name and management.

This coffee earns a premium from its quality alone, but the group also earns a bonus per lb sold in addition to the base price. This is paid by the importer and the roaster, reenforcing the skill and care these women commit to year after year.
